Waiheke Island is a magical island paradise in the treasure trove of Auckland's Hauraki Gulf islands. Rich in natural beauty, Waiheke's coastline unfolds to reveal stunning white and golden sand beaches rocky foreshores and estuaries rich in native bird life. Stands of lush sub tropical forest are bounded by farmland and vineyards.

With an area of 92 square kilometres, including 40 km of beaches, it is the second largest of the Hauraki Gulf islands, the most populated and most accessible with regular ferry and air services.

Waiheke is a world away from the rush of business and commerce although only 35 minutes by ferry from downtown Auckland, 17 km distant.
